About the practice

Our client is you.

Ibogaine Advocate exists for people who want an informed, independent perspective before making a high-stakes decision about treatment abroad.

Independence is the foundation.

When you are considering ibogaine treatment, the information can be difficult to reconcile. A clinic describes its services. A testimonial describes one person’s experience. Neither necessarily answers your questions about screening, oversight, costs, or what comes afterward.

Our role is to help you slow that information down, examine it, and ask better questions. We work for individuals considering treatment and, when involved, the families supporting them.

Responsible providers deserve thoughtful evaluation.

Independence does not mean opposition to clinics. Responsible treatment providers are important participants in a person’s care. Clear questions and transparent communication help everyone understand the options and responsibilities.

A perspective, with clear boundaries.

Education and advocacy are not medical practice. We do not diagnose, prescribe, administer ibogaine, or determine medical eligibility. Lived experience, where shared, offers perspective; it is not a substitute for professional clinical training.

What accountability looks like.

  • We are paid by the client, never by a clinic.
  • We distinguish evidence from claims and acknowledge information gaps.
  • We make room for the decision not to proceed.
  • We describe the scope and limits of advocacy clearly.
  • We respect the individual’s choice about involving family.
